We hit 4 weeks old :)

Puppies have been eating mash now this week and reallllly getting amongst it. So pretty much we have fully fledged want to do everything want to get everywhere too cool for school but still too much love to keep it all in bundles of fluff now. My days have gotten so busy because everybody at work wants to have meetings with me and get puppy cameos. Ok that's not true but you can imagine the effort it takes to not bring a puppy to every call... This week they have taken ownership of their outdoor run. Here they get to learn to use their legs and bodies across a range of terrain and work stuff out. We live under the PNW pine trees so they get pretty grubby, but they do get a tree house! (Ok, they're not old enough but Xander and Khali use it to lord over all ... or escape).

Potty training has begun, all the puppies are exploring further and further and using the far yard for potty and keeping bedding dry. Dogs will naturally avoid soiling their living areas given the choice so this is a great opportunity to build on natural instinct and give them range to roam and choose potty areas further away. They're also getting opportunities to tackle obstacles and encounter manageable amounts of stress that will help them work through stress better as adults. We have ramps that they have to navigate, with edges, and they've been working out where to best start the ramp and growing confidence moving upward and downward on a gentle slope. We'll be giving them exposure to and opportunities to explore a range of situations, objects, and noises they'll encounter as adults and need not fear.

Again too many photos. These ones are all completely unposed and taken with a 300mm lens so I could get candid shots. I hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed taking them :). Feel free to email/message me any and all of the things you're excited about to get a puppy and as much information about what you hope to do with them, I'm already considering each family as each pup starts showing more personality...

Next week: temperament assessments :).
