The Story of Apex Winters Wind White Swiss Shepherds

Apex Winters Wind evolved from a lifetime of dog ownership from growing up with several breeds and then through adulthood as part of an equestrian lifestyle. As a young adult the first dog of my very own ended up being the best dog ever, a wonderful incredible outgoing energetic enthusiastic and unbelievably loyal road-tripping guy that I couldn't imagine ever replacing, and I didn't, though many followed. When I came across the Berger Blanc Suisse breed the description was ticking every wish-list and was uncannily sounding exactly like my first boy, but when Xander arrived I was completely taken aback by how quickly he became my shadow and side kick, easily replicating the qualities of my earlier best canine buddy, with energy to accompany me on all my adventures, sweetest temperament to chill with me when downtime, utmost loyalty to stay close to my kids when they were hiking. All wrapped in a regal package. As Xander thrived in the show ring (as his breeder promised) I was confident that building this breed for other adventurers and families was something I felt passionate about.

For me, the White Swiss Shepherd has been the ideal fit with our family and has the capacity to fill a range of roles. We want to increase public knowledge through education on history and breed evolution and build awareness and availability to more families, working with other Berger Blanc Suisse breeders with similar goals.
